Ammonia Removal Membrane (PTFE-TMCS-2020)

Sci-nano has developed a membrane contactor using PTFE hollow fiber membrane for efficient and cost-effective ammonia nitrogen removal.

TransMembrane ChemiSorption (PTFE-TMCS-4040)

The polytetrafluoroethylene material itself has strong hydrophobicity, high toughness, chemical corrosion resistance and anti-pollution ability. The deamination membrane module made of it has the characteristics of long service life, strong anti-pollution performance, and can be cleaned and reused.

Ammonia Removal Membrane (PTFE-TMCS-8040)

Sci-Nano has recently developed a deamination membrane device that utilizes a PTFE membrane contactor as its core. This device effectively utilizes the unique properties of the PTFE membrane, such as strong hydrophobicity, breathability, and impermeability. The operation of the device involves adjusting the pH value of the wastewater to an alkaline level. This adjustment allows the conversion of ammonia nitrogen ions in the wastewater into ammonia. As a result, a specific ammonia partial pressure difference is created on either side of the membrane. This difference enables the ammonia gas to flow from the wastewater side, with a higher partial pressure, to the absorption liquid side, with a lower ammonia partial pressure. The device successfully reduces the presence of ammonia nitrogen in wastewater, effectively achieving its intended purpose.

Industrial wastewater deamination

The purification of high ammonia nitrogen wastewater has always been a worldwide problem. Ammonia nitrogen wastewater comes from many sources and has large emissions, such as petroleum, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, smelting, food, coking, landfills, etc., which can produce large amounts of high-concentration ammonia nitrogen wastewater. Direct discharge of ammonia nitrogen wastewater into water bodies will cause nutrient formation, black and odorous water bodies, increase the difficulty and cost of sewage treatment, and even cause toxicity to people and organisms. Therefore, effectively treating high ammonia nitrogen wastewater is a major problem in environmental protection and green and high-quality development.

How does the ammonia removal membrane/nitrogen removal membrane work?

SCI-NANO PTFE ammonia removal membrane/nitrogen removal membrane module is used to remove ammonia nitrogen.

What is the maximum concentration of ammonium sulfate? How to proceed?

The concentration that ammonium sulfate can achieve is related to the ammonia nitrogen content and emission requirements. We have a calculation book to calculate it. According to our experience, about 1000mg of ammonia nitrogen can roughly achieve 8-10% ammonium sulfate, about 2000mg of ammonia nitrogen can roughly achieve 15-20% of ammonium sulfate, and 3000mg can roughly achieve 20-25%;

What is membrane distillation?

The SCI-NANO membrane distillation component uses PTFE hollow fiber membrane filaments with strong hydrophobicity, high melting point, stable chemical properties and corrosion resistance. It uses the steam pressure difference on both sides of the membrane as the mass transfer driving force to efficiently remove volatile substances in aqueous solutions. It can be used Distillation desalination of water and removal of volatile substances from aqueous solutions.

What is the chemical cleaning method for maintenance ammonia removal membrane system?

Different pollution situations in the ammonia removal membrane system require different cleaning methods.

How to solve the pollution problem of deamination membrane?

SCI-NANO deamination membrane uses hollow fiber membrane made of PTFE as raw material, which has excellent properties such as high hydrophobicity, corrosion resistance and pollution resistance.
