PTFE-MD-4040

The Sci-Nano membrane distillation module uses PTFE microporous membrane, which is a membrane separation process using the steam pressure difference on both sides of the membrane as the driving force for mass transfer. It can be used for distillation and desalination of water and removal of volatile substances from aqueous solutions.

Product Description

Membrane Distillation Contactors(MD-4040)

Membrane distillation (MD) is an advanced technology that uses hydrophobic microporous membranes and vapor pressure differences for separation. It is particularly suitable for seawater desalination and extraction of volatile components in aqueous solutions. When using this hydrophobic microporous membrane to separate two aqueous solutions of different temperatures, due to the greater water vapor pressure on the high temperature side, water vapor will migrate through the membrane pores from the hot end to the cold end and condense. This mechanism is similar to the conventional evaporation, diffusion and condensation processes, hence the name membrane distillation.
The SCI-NANO membrane distillation component uses PTFE hollow fiber membrane filaments with strong hydrophobicity, high melting point, stable chemical properties and corrosion resistance. It uses the steam pressure difference on both sides of the membrane as the mass transfer driving force to efficiently remove volatile substances in aqueous solutions. It can be used Distillation desalination of water and removal of volatile substances from aqueous solutions.

Features and advantages of PTFE membrane:

· PTFE hydrophobic material, solvent resistance, acid and alkali resistance, excellent chemical stability.

· Uniform pores, narrow pores, high separation efficiency.

· No chemical dissolution, suitable for food/beverage and other industrial fields.

· Optimized design of membrane module fluid to avoid undesirable phenomena such as concentration polarization and scaling.

· Modular design, overall installation of equipment, reduce equipment occupation, save tedious construction

· Make full use of the thermal efficiency step by step, efficiently recover system energy, and ensure that the system utilizes drive heat sources.

· Using low-temperature drive, it can diversify the use of various low-grade waste heat (hot water, steam, solar energy and other waste heat sources).

· The equipment is made of plastic material with good corrosion resistance, low cost and long service life.
