Membrane Distillation Contactors(MD-2020) 

Membrane distillation is a process based on membrane separation/concentration technology that uses the vapor pressure difference (depending on temperature) between the feed and permeate sides of a hydrophobic membrane as a driving force to achieve separation and filtration of substances.
SCI-NANO membrane distillation module MD-2020 uses PTFE hollow fiber membrane filaments with high hydrophobicity, high melting point and excellent chemical stability and corrosion resistance. It can effectively remove volatile components in aqueous solutions and is suitable for water distillation and Desalination treatment. Compared with traditional distillation technology, the advantages of membrane distillation are that it can use low-grade and economical heat sources, occupy smaller land area, and reduce investment costs.
