The efficiency of removing ammonia nitrogen from wastewater is significantly affected by the water temperature. Low water temperatures can result in poor removal of ammonia nitrogen from wastewater. Therefore, it is beneficial to increase the temperature of wastewater to improve the efficiency of ammonia nitrogen removal. However, extreme temperatures, either too high or too low, can damage the membrane contactor system. During cold weather, the membrane may freeze and become irreparably damaged if antifreeze measures are not taken in time. Similarly, if high-temperature water, such as water above 70°C, enters the system, it can cause the membrane contactor to soften and damage the membrane. To ensure that the wastewater deamination process runs smoothly and efficiently, it is advisable to maintain the water temperature between 30-45°C.
