Product Description
Nitrogen Removal Membrane /Ammonia Removal Membrane(TMCS-8040)
Sci-Nano has recently developed a deamination membrane device that utilizes a PTFE membrane contactor as its core. This device effectively utilizes the unique properties of the PTFE membrane, such as strong hydrophobicity, breathability, and impermeability. The operation of the device involves adjusting the pH value of the wastewater to an alkaline level. This adjustment allows the conversion of ammonia nitrogen ions in the wastewater into ammonia. As a result, a specific ammonia partial pressure difference is created on either side of the membrane. This difference enables the ammonia gas to flow from the wastewater side, with a higher partial pressure, to the absorption liquid side, with a lower ammonia partial pressure. The device successfully reduces the presence of ammonia nitrogen in wastewater, effectively achieving its intended purpose.
Advantages:
· The high density of the membrane allows for a high removal rate of ammonia nitrogen.
· The system operates at nearly normal pressure, resulting in over 80% energy savings, low energy consumption, and reduced operating costs.
· The membrane material is made of PTFE, which provides resistance to corrosion, acids, alkalis, and high temperatures, and has high hydrophobicity. It is insoluble and does not melt.
· The membrane has uniform and narrow pores, which help prevent issues like polarization and scaling.
· The membrane wire is woven into an array, which enhances its ability to withstand the impact of the fluid, preventing breakage and ensuring a long, stable service life.
