High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is an instrument that utilizes the principle of high-efficiency liquid chromatography to separate and analyze mixtures by exploiting the differences in distribution ratios among components between a liquid-solid or immiscible liquid phase. However, the presence of bubbles in the mobile phase, which carries the sample to be analyzed, is a common problem during HPLC system operation. Bubbles can interfere with the pump output and result in false chromatographic peaks in the detector output, thus affecting the accuracy of the analysis. Therefore, all solvents used in the chromatographic system must be degassed.

However, the presence of bubbles in the mobile phase, which carries the sample to be analyzed, is a common problem during HPLC system operation. Bubbles can interfere with the pump output and result in false chromatographic peaks in the detector output, thus affecting the accuracy of the analysis. Therefore, all solvents used in the chromatographic system must be degassed.

To address the diversity and complex chemical nature of the mobile phase in HPLC, Sci-Nano has developed the SDG-01 degassing membrane series for liquid chromatography, which demonstrates excellent corrosion resistance, chemical stability, compatibility, and low vacuum requirements.

The degassing membrane products for Sci-Nano liquid chromatography primarily consist of PTFE hollow fiber membranes as the core material, possessing outstanding hydrophobicity and the ability to withstand organic solvents with low surface tensions, thus ensuring a long service life. In addition, the novel arrangement of membrane fibers inside the components increases the fluid diffusion path while maintaining a faster flow rate. This breakthrough alleviates the limitation of low flow rates and generally covers a flow rate range of 10 mL/min or higher (depending on the type of HPLC system). Sci-Nano 's degassing membrane products exhibit excellent solvent compatibility, constant flow rate limitation, and are unaffected by the evaporation of solvent vapor during high-pressure vacuum degassing. They are suitable for various environments, enabling efficient HPLC degassing and effectively reducing permeation evaporation and associated mobile phase variations.
